The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) approach has been shown to be effective in managing both stress and anxiety. While the concept and method is relatively easy, it takes some practice to experience the benefits. Ultimately, it offers a way to feel present in the moment rather than swept away by stress and worry which interfere with participating fully in life.
