About Carol

Carol Speed-Zeyen, MSW, RSW is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto (1994) and is CACBT-ACTCC-Certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She has also been trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques and Psychotherapy. Her professional mental health counselling career includes work at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Clarke site), St. Michael’s Hospital, Mackenzie Health, and Southlake Regional Health Centre. She has also provided mental health focused psycho-educational lectures to University of Toronto medical students and provided consultation to Registered Nurses, General Practitioners and Medical Residents.

As a provider of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapy services, Carol’s fees are often covered by many Benefits plans (please check whether your Insurance provider covers Master in Social Work (MSW) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) prior to contacting Carol ). As she is a Regulated Health Professional, you may also choose to submit receipts on income tax forms under ‘Medical Expenses’.
